ship-to-shore digital e-mail services which are integrated directly into the high-speed Internet. Send us an e-mail if you have inquiries about this maritime service.
CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL:
AugTec provides consultation services, as needed, in the areas of coordination, operational support, and systems engineering and technical assistance to the Centers for Disease Control for
their National Public Health Radio Network (NPHRN). This is a high frequency radio network that utilizes Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) technology.
The purpose of the National Public Heath Radio Network (NPHRN) is to provide the CDC, state, territorial, and local health departments with a non-infrastructure dependent communications capability. This back up communications system utilizes specific radio channels within the high frequency (HF) radio spectrum.
ANTENNA EVALUATION:
AugTec can provide HF antenna evaluation services. For example, AugTec conducted an evaluation of a broad-band, terminated HF antenna system (LP1910AA) sold by United States
Antenna Products, LLC. The evaluation was completed at the request of Alpha Tech. Both 200W and 1,000W versions of the antenna were tested. This antenna product is designed for tactical
deployment.
